Senior Credit Sales Consultant

About the company:

Our client is a financial services client who specializes in forex trading and in the sale and service of financial products using their existing model. They are now looking to add the right people to join their Trade Finance sales team in the UK.

Key Skills:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in FX or credit sales, ideally with experience in Corporate FX or treasury products, or experience as Relationship Manager in SMEs or Corporate Banking
- Proven track records in a comparable sales role, selling to corporate clients in a competitive, fast paced environment
- Possess a strong foundation of knowledge within business management and global financial markets
- Ability to consistently meet and exceed demanding revenue targets
- Possess a positive, enthusiastic and motivated attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication and articulation skills
- Existing relationships in target sectors a plus

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with a team of lead generators, closing business identified by the team as well as closing own leads
- At least 5 face-to-face meetings per week with prospective clients
- On a monthly basis meet/exceed revenue and new account targets
- Build and develop strong relationships with prospective and existing corporate clients
- Intelligently discuss international trade, business management and the factors that influence them in an articulate manner
- Work together with other departments to ensure compliance and operational procedures run smoothly and the client is seamlessly transitioned to the credit

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial field based sales, an entrepreneurial mind-set and a passion for financial markets.
