My client is recruiting for a support specialist with strong skills in Enterprise Network Active Directory, Citrix, VMWare to join their highly skilled team. You will have min 3/4 years exp as an IT technician on 2nd and 3rd line support of Citrix, VMWare, Active Directory etc.; with a proven track record in deploying & providing governance of various size projects from a technical perspective.
Knowledge of current technologies, methodologies and industry best practice Prince II and ITIL. Experience in the management and control of critical, daily processes, track record of process design and implementation within the IT arena, experience of managing distributed technical support operations multiple sites and technologies including Citrix, VMWare, Active Directory. Experienced Enterprise Network support person, hands-on and consultative approach to working with the company¿s customers and directly with senior management and technical staff. Proven skills and experience at managing and building relationships both internally and externally. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, specifically Windows XP/7/2003/2008. Administration of Active Directory, DNS, WINS, Group Policy. Administration of Microsoft Exchange 2003. Administration of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop, Experience in building laptops and PC's desktop images, Experience in rolling-out laptops and PC¿s desktop images using imaging software, specifically Altiris, Administration of Microsoft Database Systems, specifically SQL Server 2000/2003/2008.Knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-v and Citrix XenServer.
