Document Controller - Excel, Office, Sharepoint, Adobe

My client is a large Engineering firm who require a bright, switched on and enthusiastic candidate to work as a Document Controller in their Swindon Office as a matter of urgency.

As Document Controller the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a record of controlled documents (Incoming and Outgoing), maintenance of computerised databases - in multiple EDMS systems and recording of incoming / outgoing correspondence and design documentation. You will use the databases to search, find and recover design drawings and documents whilst producing Requests for Record design drawings and monitor their receipt.

The successful candidate will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, Microsoft Office Sharepoint and in particular an aptitude for Excel and Adobe. You must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with a GCSE in English required. You will have strong interpersonal and team working skills. You will be Self-Motivated and enthusiastic to learn, focussed attention to detail, Organised; with an ability to manage your time efficiently and prioritise duties as well as a willingness to get involved and do what's necessary to improve the overall operation of the office.
